Jay Leno on the Pledge of Allegiance

"With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?"

When America took God out of the schools (was that 1967 or 1973?) I think God began removing his blessing from us. We deserve judgment for all the evil we've done as a nation, including the millions of unborn babies we've murdered.

I believe it was 1962 that we banished God from the schools (1973 was when Roe v Wade unlawfully overturned all state laws against abortion).

David Barton of Wall Builders wrote a book documentating the drastic decline our nation took from the moment prayer was banned from public schools. I believe it's called "America: To Pray or Not to Pray."

I believe we do deserve judgment as a nation, but too often we misunderstand God's ulimate purpose for judgment. It is always intended to restore us to Him. Eventually I'll get around to writing about that topic on this blog (seems inevitable in a blog about justice). Thanks for posting.
